It is freezing outside, but I have no need to leave the house. The fireplace is going. We just lit the advent wreath. My little family is enjoying our little secure nook on the planet. Time to settle down with a good book.

So I signed up for this service called mint on Motley Fools. It is essentially budgeting software that links to your bank and gives you a minute by minute picture of your spending habits. I have been doing it for 3 months now. All I can say is it is very enlightening.

Ah…much better.
I taught Sunday school again this week and it went much better. Last week I had 14 kids by myself and well…it did not go well.

The Incredibles was on, but Ethan was not interested. He wanted to watch The Backyardigans. My brain can only coast in neutral so [...]

Watching all of the coverage of the democratic convention this week has reminded me how much I miss Colorado. Seeing all of the puff pieces on the local culture brings to mind a time in my life where I felt complete freedom. As a kid, I could ride my bike just about anywhere in town. [...]

I love sucking on chocolate covered pretzels. I love the transition that takes place in you mouth.
Sweet sweet sweet sweet…Salty sweet…salty salty salty crunch.

New Favorite Song
I have a new favorite song. I think I heard it in the background of “House”, but I cannot remember.
It is “42″ by Coldplay.
As an added bonus, 42 is my favorite number.
