So I am in an angry troll kind of mood.
Ethan had his second urodynamics test today, but I could not go because we had an emergency at work (it is 7:15pm as I write this…I am still at work…waiting for customer confirmation). The Urodynamics test is by far the most invasive test ever conceived of [...]

So last night was my idea of a near perfect Friday Night. Not that it was the greatest, but for what it was, it was perfect.
Ethan had his piano recital last night, so I knocked off work early. When I got home, he was busy doing Jedi business with the kids in the neighborhood. [...]

I love Saturdays, especially when there is no agenda. I was a bum most of the morning except for the “procedure.” We went to the mall for lunch. I had bourbon chicken. Then Jenn bought socks while I got Ethan a haircut at Cartoon Cuts. I got to watch an episode of Fairly Odd Parents.
We [...]

I am sitting in the computer room overlooking the park, watching the kids come and go. Today was a long day. Ethan had an upper GI test (x-ray with dye in his stomach). The test was at 8:30. I expected to get out by 10:30, take Ethan to lunch, and then have some me time [...]

So…Yesterday…is over for now.
Ethan was scheduled for an MRI at 10:30. Since kids cannot sit still long enough for the test, they have to be given general anesthesia. So they wanted us to show up at 9:00 to do all the paperwork and pre-op stuff. We left the house a little after 7. It [...]

Tomorrow we are going to Ethan’s Spina Bifida clinic. When Ethan was a baby, we had 5-6 specialists that he saw on a regular basis. Each doctor wanted their own set of tests. It was Jenn’s full time job just lugging him around from appointment to appointment. Then there was the dread each time they [...]

During my never ending training session on Friday, I started playing with Google tools. I found two that were kind of cool. One was a search engine for just blogs. The other was an RSS reader that allows you to read blogs across applications.
So while the boredom continued on the training front, I started searching [...]

Some days are just perfect. They are rare, but they do happen.

Today’s Agenda: Baseball, minor league, Frederick Key vs Potomac Nationals. If you are not there, you are either dead or in prison. So break out.
Going to a minor league game is probably my favorite family outing. Unlike the majors, minor league games are cheap and have a real family atmosphere. It is a great way [...]

Ethan gets his Uniform
He is so proud of his uniform.
He can’t wait to play
After getting washed out by rain last week, Ethan finally had his opening game. He begged us to join the league, and I think it was well worth the investment. He had so much fun.
I feel so blessed. It was just a [...]
